Re: New / Old - Little Weldon

@ joshv8 It' it seems my answer is redundant, others got there before me. The lengthsman was a track worker who was responsible for the daily maintenance of a particular stretch of track. His daily tasks would include checking and tightening the wooden keys which wedged the rail into the chairs for...

Well, at least you got the wasps out! Nothing quite like the old spray and "RUN"!

It will be great to see your continued progress. Your track work always looks perfect.

Re: Frontington & Backwoods Railway

I think you did quite well with the fences! There's makes out there that have posts and wire you feed through little holes in the post. I was able to make my own. Unfortunate the ones you bought were not up to standard, still you man lemonade from lemons :D

Re: New / Old - Little Weldon

Hello all Food for thought here gentlemen. I'm not sure how ethical punching holes through a Medieval Castle wall is. But as Little Weldon's Castle is a modern plaster folly it would not be a decision that would enrage anybody. I think that photo of Conway is interesting. I agree, would be very uni...

Re: Diesel Trains to Glenburnie Station

Very much liking your new scenery by the fiddle yard glencairn, a nice spot of modelling there.
Also good to see you managed to extend rail services, I dont know how much the passangers will appreciate the longer commute however

Re: New / Old - Little Weldon

Just out of interest Dublo are there many examples of castle ruins by real life railways? Its a popular concept to model, looks great and is very interesting and opens up an entire scope for further modelling. Be it castle restoration, visitors taking photos, could even model a medieval fair at the ...

Re: 8x4 roundy round- Lemmington - minor update page 14

Hi Josh I think your accidental backscenes have added an extra dimension to your layout. They have certainly added to Lemmington, in a very positive way. Little Weldon is also populated with repainted Chinese people, sheep and some trees. It's the little details which help to bring the scene to lif...
