Re: LBSCR E4 'Birch Grove' Back In Service

Here is some poor footage on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ry6ImLVZf3E Sadly, for some reaso...

Looking resplendent in SR Green, not worn by this loco for over 80 years, she is here standing at Horsted Keynes after the re-dedication ceremony: http://i658.photobuck...

Re: Railway Modeller January 2010

So if a layout is just over 8' long and about 18" wide, would it scale down roughly to N gauge at 4' x 1'?

Railway Modeller January 2010

Is there any easy formula to convert 00 plans to N gauge sizes? I have tried reproducing it in Xtracad but it simply drive...

Re: I was bored ! So..................

Very similar, I agree. It's the distinctive wrap around windows that struck me as the ER emu though, even when you had an all yellow frontage. Go Eastern and electric, you know it makes sense!

Re: Horsted Keynes - East Ginstead, OO gauge

Just caught up on your layout again. Looking very good! There is a shot on your website of the Horsted Keynes looking toward the station from the bridge that looks very much like my desktop photo from the same perspective, so you have definitely got the look/feel right! 8)
