Diving into 009

Good evening good people, So after bowing out of modelling for a little while, I have returned to it once again. I had started a Gn15 layout, but this has since been abandoned due to the simple fact that a scale tree in Gn15 works out at 4ft tall! I wanted several on the layout and this seemed diffi...

Re: Tilley Yard South, Chicago, Winter 1956

Good morning all. Having just completed the Wakefield show, I came to a rather sad conclusion. I simply did not enjoy running the layout. I have become simply bored of it. But this stems from much bigger problems in my life. My mental and physical health, my crippling debt, my lack of drive and enth...

Waukegan Harbor and Marine

Long time no post! Re: Smallbrook Studios "IRIS"

Hi Mountain,

My apologies for not seeing your post sooner, as I'm not really an active forum user these days.

I moved away from 016.5 a short while after completing these models. I still have them but they haven't been run for several years.

Re: HS II - The Kadee Experiments

Hi Dave and Geoff, I still have many plastic wheeled boxcars and suffer no problems. I have changed wheel sets that have magnetic axles and plastic wheels. You may be correct on too much magnet as the magnet should not attract the wagon. That said, I use the Kadee 321 (between the rails) so they are...
