Re: Dynamis v Eiite

I have a Dynamis and I find it perfectly fine to use.

If you want to read CV Values then you need to get the Pro Box.

I find being able to move around with my controller lets me enjoy my model railway more than being stuck to a controller.

But hey everybody is different :)

Re: Class 68?

I think the most recent designs of Trains are bloody awful! They are designed to be more efficient and aerodynamic than having character.

I personally think modern trains are lacking in Character, along with modern buildings etc

Re: DYNAMIS HELP

If you accidentally delete it or any other loco address...

Simply press the button under the single train icon and put the address in.

It will come back up with the address and default wording "Locomotive 3" for example

Re: Hornby 2013 speculation thread

The set doesn't interest me much as the quality of the locos is going to be very poor along with those horrible railroad ex LNER Coaches

Re: "Full-length platforms"

Gloucester Station can accommodate 2 Class 43 Intercity Trains, it does have a set of points in the middle of the platform. It is a VERY long platform which when they had point and signalling problems at the Cheltenham end of the Gloucester Triangle (sorry can't remember the name of the junction the...

Re: Hornby 2013 speculation thread

I'm steam all the way but i agree modern image do seem a bit hard done by when it comes to train sets by hornby, the pendolino, eurostar and javelin are all very restrictive modeling prototypes and it does surprise me a 66 hasn't appeared in a train set yet. I agree I'm not a massive modern image m...

Re: Hornby 2013 speculation thread

What amazes me is that they are releasing Hall class locos which Bachmann already do... Although I imagine the Hornby Halls will have better performance out the box on DCC than bachmann.

The price tag of the new sound Loco is raising an eyebrow with me.

Nearly £300... Bit pricy Hornby!

Re: Spot the Twit

You can't improve safety when people openly and blatantly throw safety out the window! The blame lies solely with the daft *word censored* who is filming and NOT with Network Rail. When the responsibility of peoples lack of common sense and self awareness is dealt with incidents like these, then the...

Re: Spot the Twit

I saw this video today. To think these are the people that give the majority of train spotters a bad name... all for the sake of a little bit of film or a photo. I'm by no means a serious train spotter and I do get quite amused at the lengths these kind of people go to for that all important photo. ...

Re: What a wasted opportunity

Better to be early than a few minutes late.

I found that some of the train journeys I've been on, trains would wait for a few minutes at certain stations

Re: Starlingford - The Rare Bird Conundrum, Pg 114

The Rare Bird is a wonderful set! I've put my bachmann Tornado behind the 3 BR teaks looks very smart.

Also the BR Blue looks very smart behind the crimson and cream coaches as well. Very smart railway

Re: Hornby Class 67

Bringing Production back to the UK might be a viable option. Many companies are bringing back production to the UK or European countries (I know of at least 2 companies have reverted back to UK production from China due to poor quality product) because they are finding the items being made in China ...
