If it's horrible, it's a DMU. My favorite would be a class 158, not because I like them, but because they annoy everybody else.

Edit: Oh, and FGWL never seem to clean them.

I love narrow-gauge layouts, might have a go at one myself someday. Very good job :)

I'll be sending my entry soon - it's a lot smaller than a4, and incorporates 1 standard Hornby straight. I'm going to use it for displaying locos when they aren't being run.

I'm in the boxes situation - everything is packed :( apart from an open-top wagon, a coach, a Bachamnn class 20 and my track. Also a controller. And a six-pack of Walker's Steak and Onion crisps.

Heck, I'm desperate.

Yes, it's a good space to model in. I like the trackwork, the curves look very realistic

I like Anglia as well, but not as much as that red livery... All modern trains should be red!

Steam: BR black, hauling cream/maroon coaches

Diesel: Deltic-style green

Modern: BR - red with a white stripe, as on this loco: http://hornby.com/locomotives-89/br-sprinter-155-r2108/
