Shelf Layouts....a book too far or too short
I'll probably change the Title in the upcoming weeks to resemble the latest little shelf layout that im doing, mainly to keep an interest and mainly because they are easier to build, easy to maintain and offer a small scene for the fleet to be placed on! Anyway most of you will probably have seen th...

As ever, the transformation is outstanding Gav!
The Lighting effect for me, gives the layout a lot of character! Especially the overview of the station (one of the last pics)
Transform it to B&W photo and you got the swinging sixties!
Amazing stuff

Re: P&BR Runaway
The 37 was coupled to the 31 and was undergoing a shunting duty. Without wanting to speculate untill a full RAIB investigation is carried out....it seems someone didn't apply the parking brake (handbrake) on the 37, thus both the 37 and 31 rolling down the line and into the shunter and box van, dera...

Without wanting to trawl back too much, although it may seem a perfect idea with a cuppa! In regards to the retaining...

Re: My Model Railway - 1990-2011 TMD (In the Making)
Mr Class 60, very much local it was going to be a model version of Godfrey Rd the boards I have where made for this project but I decided to go down the road of make believe but still South East Wales based. Welsh Trident Man. It definately gives you scope to use bits from every depot and stabling ...

Re: My Model Railway - 1990-2011 TMD (In the Making)
Always good to hear of another TMD layout gracing the forums! and by the sounds of it, a local one too! So i will have a lot of interest in this as and when your layout develops. As for the Traction/rolling stock....again, i cant fault your choice  Reminds me of Godfrey Road all those years ag...
