Re: Kenrow/Dapol Beattie Well tank engines.

Got my Beattie loco this weekend from Alexander Palace, absolutely love it! :D So much detail on a small tank, but it was worth the asking price, so yes, very very chuffed with the model, though stocks are getting a bit limited on a couple Beattie locos, I'm just glad i was able to get mine direct ...

Some superb liveries you purchased. The Evans & Bevan is great and that GWR 4 Plank Wagon is very charming too :D

Re: Port Erth; Progress, Workbench and General Photos

He has been busy recently. Done a couple of projects for me :D . He has done me a Bachmann 7F into LMS 13810 and also has done me some LMS Stanier Non Corridor Suburbans too. They look great and we should be running some locos tomorrow :P

Re: Hornby 2012

Although there is another option. If the 2012 King coming out is a new tooling and chassis, then it might be an idea to purchase that and have someone pay to transform it into a GWR version. Would be expensive but worth it.

Re: Hornby 2012

Disappointed not to see a King in a GWR livery though. I have a Castle, Grange, Hall, Modified Hall. A King in GWR livery would have completed the set. :(

Re: Hornby 2012

If they are in GWR, LMS, SR or LNER livery they will be something I will aim to get at some point. :D

They look excellent with a rake of Pullmans behind them!

Re: Starlingford - The Christmas modelling window, pg 108

The LNER Ballast Wagons are a great wagon! I got mine at Warley this year. I just find it funny how places like Hattons class this wagon as being suitable for the BR period and for departmental use when this example was built in 1926 and is in a LNER livery still. :D
does anybody know if there are any new Steam era wagons (not just repaints?) Ben
Considering the market that Hornby has now got for the modern era wagons, I doubt they will focus much on steam era wagons now. With the 2011 range bringing us only two new wagons ...

Re: Hornby 2012

Would the GWR 2-8-0T and 2-8-2T be the GWR 4200 and GWR 7200 Classes?
