Wheel cleaner

While looking on track shacks website I noticed a woodland scenic "Roto wheel cleaner". Just wondering if anybody had got one and how good they were. the idea looks sound but wondered what they were like in practice.

Just had a look at hattons website and they are advertising these for pre order arriving between January and March. What do we think the chances are of that happening?

Re: Dead dynamis

I did think about getting it repaired, but it is getting on a bit and just thought it may be time to up grade. Having thought more about it I'm slowly going towards a power cab, If er-indoors will let me have a advance on spending money.

The problem is what do I replace it with, was thinking about the new (ish) dynamis ultima. I know alot of you guys favour the nce power cab (probably wi...

Re: Shoutout for Track Shack.

Just brought a load of peco code 100 streamline track from here, excellent service, got free next day delivery and was a lot cheaper than our friends in Liverpool. Will defo use them again, some of their locos are reasonable cheap too.

Re: Dapol new announcements.

The class 68 looks interesting as well for those of us more into the modern stuff, wonder how long we will have to wait of them to appear in the shop?

Re: Diesel depot

Unfortunantly it would appear that this website has closed. Their is just a statement saying they have stopped trading due to shortage of stock and not being able to compete with other box shifters. Think their shop is still trading in Blackpool so not a total loss of another shop.

Re: Best model shop in the UK?

My local shop is frizinghall models in Bradford, not a bad shop with friendly staff and large range of stock covering must modelling needs. Problem is they are expensive so I don't tend to use them much nowadays, Its a shame because I remember going there as a kid and would hate to see it go, but wh...

Decoder for a backy 08

Just taken delivery of a Bachmann 08 from our friends at Liverpool and was hoping to fit a Bachmann chip in it (36 553) as I had a spare one kicking around, however it doesn't fit, a little on the big side. Can anyone recommend a chip that fits or is their a trick to fitting it?

Re: Favourite Modern Train

I have to agree with you there, the hst is an iconic train and still going strong. came back from london to leeds on one about two weeks ago and it ran just as smooth as any modern Italian thing. think the class 91s should get a mention too, these are still going strong and must be getting on a bit ...
