Re: Diesels at Crown Point
Looking really great, the card building kits certainly are effective.

Re: New 7.6x6.9 spare room layout.
Haha, I think it would be a more appropriate name
Thank you, it's fairly basic, but I've got a bit more room to play about with now at least.

Re: New layout design.
Thanks Rob for your time, you've given me a lot to think about. It's a bit easier to visualise now the tables up. I might have to give up on a shunting yard, I just don't have the room if I want any real scenery.

Re: New layout design.
upload
This should give a better idea of what I'm playing with. This should give me a bit more space to play with. Tinny room for a bedroom, okish for layout (well, better than before).

Re: New layout design.
Both those look very good, are those points round the station really required? I could probably get a longer platform removing those and having them on either side of the track (rather than in the middle). Move the table so it's coming off the 5th track.

Re: New layout design.
Ahh OK, I was originally thinking of replacing all the old track with streamline. Defo replace all the straights/bends with flexi.

Re: New layout design.
Standard, they are called non-isolating points. I'll defo have a play about with those plans, the room size is a pain, still better than the 8x4 in the corner I had! It's a shame, we have a fairly large shed garage in the garden, but as we are renting, I'm not paying to weather prove it. I'd need a ...

Re: New layout design.
Nope! I bought the bachmann ones when they were on offer at Hattons, all electrofrog (and only £6 a pop). Thank god bachmann and Hattons had a tiff.

Re: New layout design.
Lol, when I first put it on the 8x4 I had been wishing I had gone for n gauge tbh. I've been really scratching my head about what to do. I had thought maybe having a station on the top left corner, going round to either side (so I can fit in 5 car trains). Down the right mayge bring the track down a...
