Class 67 Light Flicker

Firstly Hello! It's been many years since I last posted here, having given up on the hobby through college and university. I've purchased a Hornby Class 67 (67003) and the ATW MK3 DVT (82307) and have them running round an oval of track on the living room floor; which is wooden, powered by a HM2000 ...

Track Circuits on DCC

Well I'm hoping to start a simple layout. The idea is to have it fully track circuited. Though the layout is DCC controlled. Is there a simple way to do track circuits on DCC or is it going to have to be some sort of current detection circuit? Note I want it to detect locomotives, units, and rolling...

Dynamis Track Connection Block

I have lost the small green block that plugs into the back of my Dynamis base station.

Any ideas of where spare ones are obtainable from?

9 Car Pendolino

Hey guys,

I bought the 4 car pendolino pack back when it first came out, I now want to make it a 9 car set, I'm confused as to which coaches I need to buy to form the full train.

Any help is appreciated.

Re: Karl's photograph thread

Thought I'd post some of the photos I took on my iPhone while working at the LLangollen DMU gala. I planned to take quite a few pictures, but managed to drop the phone after a passenger wielding a tripod knocked into me, the phone hit the platform and smashed. Oh well. The Class 109 sits in Number f...

Re: Karl's photograph thread

Here is the reverse of the location, there are two crossings, the images above are taken from the one nearer to Wrexham, you can only really take pictures in the Bidston direction from the other crossing as otherwise you have to be in the Cess or the four foot and I don't fancy that. http://i121.pho...

Re: Karl's photograph thread

Well I haven't been out with the camera for a long time, which is a shame; However a few weeks ago I discovered that their was a footpath very close to my house which runs parallel to the Borderlands line, the only freight that goes up the line is Steel traffic running to Dee Marsh. So today I went ...

Re: Your opinions on current DMU's

Well Dave I always thought the best thing about voyagers, apart from of course the horrible smell in the vestibules the rock hard bolt upright seats, the dam first class assistance alarm that plays throughout the whole train andthe funny looks you get off people when you can't keep still cause your ...

Death would result I think. Idiots, two damaged 170s and a voyager. What posses these people?
