Re: Dapols HST the wait is over, its here.
Today Hattons have emailed me to tell me my 2x blue/grey HSTs have been posted. I suppose I'd better get some track down soon!

Re: Ebay madness
This seems a bit over the top to me. Unless of course those particular coach numbers are in short supply. From a seller who has been mentioned more than once in this thread too I believe.
3x Dapol coaches currently £82

Re: Steam Engline Anyone?
I wonder if they'd consider sending it 1st class recorded delivery. Collection may be difficult for me due to work commitments.

To be fair it's not ALL expensive. The odd item is slightly cheaper than others.
They responded today! Maybe you had a word with them?

Re: Live US webcam. Addictive!
20 minutes I've been watching that webcam (the US one) and haven't seen a train yet. Maybe the drivers are on strike. Edit: Another 20 minutes has passed and still nothing. I couldn't be a train spotter At last, 45 minutes it took for a train to turn up! It now looks like it will take 10 minutes to ...

Alton Model Centre
I had heard of this shop but never really gave it much thought. Until yesterday that is. I was driving from Basingstoke to Bordon and the satnav took me right through Alton. Well, I spotted the shop and I couldn't just drive past could I? Spent about half an hour and just under £100 in there on a se...

Re: model shops in Trowbridge
I've never been in the gas cupboard even though it's not far away. Whenever I've looked online for something it always seems very expensive in there. Is this always the case? Eg, just been looking for a 373-454A container wagon. It's £15 in the GC. It's £10.80 in another shop and I don't mean Hatton...

Re: Where can I find a CityElefant train in OO? (ČD Class 471)
I doubt very much you'll find it in OO, HO may be possible though.
I did find one but the picture is 900 pixels wide which is too big for this forum. If you CLICK HERE it should show up, not sure what gauge/scale it is though.
Is that any use?

I think Quavers are quite popular at Hattons as I've had at least 2 deliveries from them in Quavers boxes.
