Re: Class 47 possible bogie issue?
thank you all for the replies. the gears are grinding at slow speeds too. i took both towers apart, not that much in the way of lubrication, so i wonder if some (not much) lube is in order also the bogies do rock a bit on an even surface. by the looks of things the center wheel is too low on one of ...

Class 47 possible bogie issue?
Hi everyone
I have a brand new class 47 university of nottingham.
I noticed that when i run it in one direction around a 3rd radius curve, the front wheel hops off the track, but going in the opposite direction all is fine.
Any suggestions as to why this is?
Thanks in advance for your help
Phil

i just completed wiring droppers to my dcc bus.
im currently checking for shorts, so remind me please,
if i check continuity between the two rails i should not get a beep right? both rails should be isolated? am i correct or am i having a major brain f**t?

Re: nce power cab pcp
Hi You should contact Hattons and arrange for a return and replacement. The plug with two screw terminals and PCB soldered on socket it mates into are missing (unless they are in the box somewhere?) and then you could solder them on yourself. But personally I would return it. i have the screw termi...
