Re: They don't make them like they used to....

I chased Duchess around on saturday up Shap & down the S&C, i also followed her earlier this year on the north Wales coastline & that wartime black with maroon lining on the footplate is awsome i really like that livery although Br brunswick green would just do it for me :D

Re: Bachmann 2011 Products wishlist

Looking at the current releases forth coming from Bachmann i think personally the class 185 transpennie dmu isnt far away because it is seen on both the east 7 west coast & is fairly widespread in the northern part of the country which is a likely candidate & it certainly gets my vote  ...

Re: class 142/143 ....are these the worst loco's ever?

They might be old & they might bounce everywhere & break your neck before you get to your destination but i personally think their is something about the humble pacer that i like. I see them daily on the Colne line & they are not as bad as everyone makes out & i'm told if it wasnt fo...

Re: Bachmann 2011 Products wishlist

Trannspennine class 185 for starters would be nice along with a class 76. Steamwise maybe something a little different like a lms garrett or a claughton or something like that. A midland compound would be good too & they lasted out till the late 50's & would make a nice addition to my fleet ...
