Well, I hope you get pictures of the baby coots when they arrive.

I thought someone upstream was doing laundry. All the streams in Nicaragua look like that at any rapids or falls. I’m sure it is common all over the world, even in ancient, rural France.

Technically, for the French at that time, using lead would have been a problem. IMO, getting such long strips of the metal would have been an issue. As far as using lead, no, not a problem it it were available. My guess is that even the galvanized or tinned strips would have been in shorter sections...

The house looks great Daniel. Now you have a new concept, balsa dust weathering. And, after due consideration, I have decided not to rent the top room in that house you just finished. I am going to negotiate with the owner of the building on the other side of the river and see if I can rent the room...

I didn’t want a 3” tall plastic man trying to get out of bed in a 2” tall room.

Need some help here. Can you tell me the measurement (in feet) of the distances marked in red? I will be working in 1/24 of course, since all my accessories and people are that scale. I may have to conjure up my idea of the top floor bedroom in that place. Maybe a model? Would be fun.

What century is the diorama showing? Gotta look for appropriate interior design.
