Re: Back Lane

Still work in progress, a picture of the walling in place so I can spot glaring errors and fix it before glueing in place.

Re: WORKING WITH FOAM

I've made a mistake and notice it just now: I am not sure that anyone else would have noticed, I struggled to see it even when you pointed it out, until you showed us the repair job. Going back to Foamex which you asked about earlier, you can cut it with a normal craft knife but it needs a couple o...

Re: WORKING WITH FOAM

Hi Daniel, PVC foam board appears to be the right stuff, obviously working in a much smaller scale I don’t need your quantity or size. I have some 1mm thickness that I haven’t tried yet, the two little huts are made with 5mm. I purchased a starter pack of 5 x A4 sheets a few years ago after seeing a...

Thanks, it was a little micro I built a few years ago when we moved house, only just getting around to building a bigger layout now.

Re: WORKING WITH FOAM

I have had a little dabble Daniel. I used Fomex which is a more solid substance than you are using. It requires a proper scriber to make indentations:

Being 1/72 scale its also a lot smaller than your work

Re: Back Lane

Another wall, another board...

This one is skinnier at 8" wide, and will have a single track running through it to link a very small fiddle yard through to the main yard.

Re: My personal layout under endless (re)construction

Simply fascinating... your modelling and words.

As Pat suggested, you are posting faster than I can view, but after reading your reply it’s fine I will work my way through at my own pace.

Looking forward to the next instalment 8)
