Re: More eBay nonsense...........

Not tarnishing all with the same brush. I wouldn't use it as they messed me around with a refund for an item and had some dodgy bloke from Nigeria trying to buy an item I was selling offering me double the price!! Yeah right no thanks

Re: General Qs

I ballasted with n gauge ballast for 00 gauge track, finer, easier to spread and looks better. I spreaded with a small brush then 50/50 pva to water plus a squirt of washing up liquid. Applied it in a syringe, left to dry 48 hours. Wouldn't do it any other way

I personally wouldn't touch eBay. None model railway related but let down. I don't trust it.

Re: Backscene blending success

You don't necessarily need to blend it. For me it's just as I have a road disappearing at both ends..here's a couple of picks of how I've blended the other end and how it runs parallel

Re: Backscene blending success

That looks really good. I've obscured it from the other angle with a well positioned tree. Unsure of the viva plate! I think your odds are short on royaltys !!

Re: How Tall (yard lighting)

Hi, I'd say your estimates are about right. I've scaled both football goals , football stadium floodlights and a football pitch on my layout. Sometimes it's all about what looks right on the layout but isn't necessarily the right size in real life. The best way is to get the real life measurement an...

Re: Strange request but help appreciated

The job doesn't look that bad and as I said I wouldn't do what I did again. The grass is very short and doesn't look to long. Sadly I can't upload a photo of it on here but it is on a well know video site under the same name as my user name followed by Railway.
