This new EZ track works fabulously. Most of the time.

Rapido OO 4-2-2 Stirling
Had to pay up for this one, Out of production. One thing: it doesn't run. Instead, it regally glides, side rods symmetrically swimming, across the British landscape whilst surveying her realm. The level of detail is matched by its extraordinary mechanism. This is not a locomotive, it is an event. IM...

Re: Henley's Big Expansion
Thank you, Bufferstop, I have two semaphores that I sprinkled around, not knowing what to do with them. As for stopping in time, it keeps me quite alert, as I have advanced to some of the better, more expensive models that will not tolerate a beating. Two trains can take some minutes to traverse the...

The diminutive Hornby Peckett runs like a jewel, and the older, more vintage Hornby High Wheeler set is fairly reliable throughout it all. Care has to be taken to not collide at crossings. Slowly, things are taking shape.

IMG_20220620_000617.jpg IMG_20220620_000624.jpg Putting in some of the terminal tracks. It is discovered that the use of this EZ Track has the effect of forcing one to keep it simple. The overall complexity has, by necessity, be reduced to allow the rigid track components can fit. This a good omen ...

Re: Model railway inside Campervan: Opinions and ideas
In the USA, space can be at a premium in a congested city, but beyond there one often has a bit more flexibility. As an outsider looking in, it has been an education to watch some Englishmen fit the most extraordinary track plans into the smallest of spaces or unusual locations. I do not ever recall...

Re: Hornby Adams Radial Problems.
I've been drooling over the Oxford Radial for a time now, and have greatly enjoyed their Dean Goods. That 50:1 gear ratio is a strong selling point. I like things on the slow side; not blasting around like slot cars. Purchasing anything out of the UK is always a throw of the dice, as if it is a dud,...

That was too easy! I might have purchased one from you a while back? It is Lima, I think, and still provides reliable and timely service; lovely set.
