Identification Help, Soviet?

I was able to snag this from the For Sale Thread, and it arrived in perfect condition, well packed, and is proving more interesting than ever. There is a photocopy of a manual, in German, which I shall eventually work through translating on Google. In the mean time, can anyone provide identification...

Re: Old horny Pullman coach

Perhaps you should try Horny Manufactories, instead.

Quite saucy, those old coaches.

Soviet Memories V: Economy Today! USSR.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5w4d-Hlc9M I have been intrigued about the idea of cloning extinct creatures. Truth be told, efforts to clone the Wooly Mammoth have come to naught because the freeze and thaw cycle has rendered the DNA worthless. Still... The link has been changed to allow internati...

Re: Lemington docks.... end to end

Astonishing in every way. Also, you have no idea how rare in North America a point-to-point layout is.

Re: Sound effects

Sounds brilliant. If you ever shoot video, it is fun to download and use music for a background. It is interesting how different music changes the "feel" of any given video. FYI, there is a LOT of sound effects ranging from locomotives to thunderclaps available free to download and from su...

The People's Committee of Rail Roads authorized this SBB Personen and Guterzuglok to be added to the Soviet State Railways. The Red Stars are my own addition. Small Austrian company out of Austria, called Kleinbahn. Runs super sweet and slow.

The low gearing of the Hornby Peckett and Terrier provide smooth, slow running. They navigate points without hesitation. The detail is splendid.

I was going to ask what you used; 'rawl plugs." Have to go find me some. Nice pic. Glad to hear the DCC is exceeding expectation.

Fly in the Ointment
No matter how well built a model railway is, there is always that fly in the ointment.

Re: Stainsacre Lane 6'x3' 00 in a Box Room

We have this nasty habit of complicating life !! I want bigger I want more I want better I want complex systems When simple, small, easy to run, oh and it helps if it's a warm room !!! is all that's really required. I am looking forward to the scenic developments. Geoff T. This is the perennial cur...

Re: New / Old - Little Weldon

Seeing this vintage 3 rail is always a fascination. One advantage to 3 rail, or as in Marklin's center stud, is I imagine track cleaning is not nearly the issue it is with 2 rail. I recall coming across some fine old coaches, in metal, and quickly blowing a fuse I was introduced into the rarified wo...
