Re: ECoS Controller and ZTC Accessory Decoders

Job done. Put the failure to spot the solution earlier down to my advancing years.

Re: ECoS Controller and ZTC Accessory Decoders

Browsing through the ZTC Decoder Manual this evening it would appear that switching over the point motor outputs at the ZTC-304 might well do the trick . Report to follow.

ECoS Controller and ZTC Accessory Decoders

As part of the (prolonged) recovery program for my Clackwick Layout, I finally got around to putting the four ZTC-304 Accessory Decoders under the control of my ECoS console. These had previously governed the operation of fourteen sets of points from the ZTC 505 Controller - until it expired. No har...

Re: Hornby Class 20 TTS Loco in Consist

Thanks for responding Rob. I'm going to switch the motor connections on the lead loco and see where that leaves me. I suspect it may do the trick.

Re: Hornby Class 20 TTS Loco in Consist

Hornby Class 20 TTS - CV29 Settings I’m somewhat stumped with my pair of Hornby Class 20 TTS Diesels. Had them running fine as a consist for some months, with front and rear lights working according to plan - cab and single front light on the lead loco, single tail light on the trail loco. In a rush...

Re: Millsend Layout - OO Gauge Sixties Midland

Yep, another great one Jim. I must get mine running soon, but this b###y model boat in my Christmas stocking is taking up all my spare time at the moment!

Re: Clackwick Circa 1955

Dec 24th saw a start to testing the Clackwick layout following completion of recovery work on numerous lengths of track. The following morning it was clear that Santa had brought more than the usual range of presents, but nothing whatever appropriate to my layout. However, one large package containe...

Re: Clackwick Circa 1955

Ten days on and I'm still struggling on the underside of the layout. Having wired in a number of extra feeds on the larger (station) side, I thought the remainder was just a formality - but I had overlooked the raised embankment that covers four metres down the south side, and which effectively left...

Very nice Jim; a pleasure to watch. Clackwick still "in maintenance", but I see distant light.

Re: Clackwick Circa 1955

Had the rest of the panels off today, and spent another couple of hours locating the rest of the track connections (the masking tape stickers): Track Supply 5 1024 x 768.jpg Track Supply 4 1024 x 768.jpg Track Supply 3 1024 x 768.jpg I'm hoping that the addition supply feeds at two more point sets a...

Re: Clackwick Circa 1955

Thanks Jim. I plan to remove the remaining two side panels this morning, then complete the "northside" survey and carry out whatever rectification needs doing. With the panels out of the way, it also provides the opportunity for me to give the area a good clean (it's certainly due one afte...

Re: Clackwick Circa 1955

Made a start today on looking into the track problems I experienced before visitors arrived last week. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I had installed the layout side panels (back in 2005) with some degree of foresight, and within ten minutes of starting I had access to the underside of the ...
