Re: Just wondering...

No problem John :)

I was wondering if there would be expressions of interest in the layout as a whole rather than breaking it up.

As to why... circumstances dictate :(

Re: Just wondering...

That'll be no interest at all then.

Just wondering...

I am considering selling up lock, stock and barrel and was wondering whether there would be any interest in Finsbury Road as a complete layout.

It isn't for sale yet, I'm just contemplating, which is why this isn't in the for sale section.

Finsbury Road is the layout linked to in my sig.

Yes.

Dave Foley did it for Finsbury Road. Pictures in my layout thread :)

Re: Changing a DCC function

Thanks :)

On the class 25, F5 was already used as part of the sound files but there are plenty of spare Function numbers :)

Yes, I've looked in the manuals but to be frank, I can't make head nor tail of it.

Re-assigning DCC functions

Please can anybody shed any light here? My Bachmann class 25 with its Loksound decoder was playing up a little bit, to the extent that I reset the decoder using value 8 in CV 08. This seems to have solved the problem but now my cab lights, previously switched on with F10 and F11, no longer work :( P...

Keeping track of DCC functions

I wonder whether anybody has any ideas regarding this please? I'm gathering a reasonable stable of locomotives now, all with DCC sound and most of them have been modified to include extras like cab lights etc. There is no standardisation on function numbers though, with the result that trying to fin...

Bachmann boxes

Hi,

Does anybody know whether it is possible to buy Bachmann locomotive boxes please?

I e-mailed Bachmann and got the usual nil response.

I need to get the clear plastic liner from a class 25.

Thanks

Changing a DCC function

I bought a locomotive with a Loksound V4.0 decoder.

The cab lights are on F5 but so is the coupling sound.

Please can anybody tell me how to re-assign one or the other to a different number?

Thank you
