Re: Phantom movements
Ok... as can been seen from the questions I ask I am not very electronically savvy. So in the interest of clarity am I right in concluding that installing an auto reverse module or Dual Juicer that that would solve the original shorting issue?

Re: Phantom movements
I'll look into these options, thanks. Would it be possible to link the dpdt switch (ddc bus powered) to the point motor switch (on a separate dc power circuit) for the feeding point do a similar job?

Re: Phantom movements
I've had a look at flashbang's website. Is it really as simple as adding a few wires from the DCC bus to a dpdt switch and soldering a couple of wires to the diamond crossing frogs and a few additional IRJs? I would be happy to try that if it solved the issue.

I didn't think you get code 100 electrofrog crossings.

Re: Phantom movements
I used two bus wires as I felt I could isolate any problems more easily and the layout I have, and its development, lent itself to that. I assume that there is no downside to having two buses? The bus wires are all 32/0.2 so I believe that that would not be the issue. All my droppers are 16/0.2 so a...

Re: Phantom movements
Ok.... I have programmed all locos to CV29=2 (normal running and no DC operation) and fitted the bus end filters as suggested to both ends of my two bus wires. I have one bus to feed the outer twin loop tracks and another to feed the inner twin loop tracks). I still get phantom movements on some loc...

Phantom movements
Hi, looking for some advice on a particular issue I have. When one of my engines stalls (usually on a diamond crossing) the PSU (a Gaugemaster PA2) goes into overload mode, which is fair enough. But, this seems to cause one of my other engines to momentarily surge forward at full speed for a fractio...

Re: Retro fitting building internal lighting
Thanks Rob,. These appear to be water resistant. I think I can down spec to internal use only. Let's see what Mr eBay and Mr Amazon have. Appreciate your help.

Re: Retro fitting building internal lighting
Rob,
Thanks for the pic. That looks like it will do the job with some flexibility. Would you be able to give me some more details on spec, manufacturer and source please.

Retro fitting building internal lighting
I am wanting to retro fit LED lights into some Metcalfe buildings (house, cottage, etc). Has anyone done this successfully and if so how. What LEDs did you use?

Re: Point Motor Wiring layout
I now have 26 sets of turnouts all fully motorised with directional lighting installed on my control panel. I would like to thank all those who contributed in helping me to achieve this goal (in particular flashbang). Couldn't have done it without you!
Thanks again.

Re: LED resistors
Thanks Brian, clarification much appreciated. Hopefully I'll have no further queries. (I was going to say stupid questions but to me they are not stupid questions! ).
BTW all 26 turnouts are :now wired and switching perfectly.

Re: LED resistors
As I have indicated before I am not electrically savvy! I am looking at Brian's exceedingly helpful website and considering the wiring of the LEDs and the installation of the resistors. Brian's diagram (Electrical Page 3... Panel Indications and Seep PM1s) wiring shows the resistor set into the -ve ...
