Re: Bulk Buyers
Come on - post a list initially, bet you there will be interest! Jim Yeah I was thinking the same (I wonder what he is selling) You may get a good bit sold here at same price you bought it on the forum, I would also be inclined to go the EBay route for anything else so you get the most return for y...

Re: Shops in Essex
However, there is a real gem in Chelmsford: http://www.johndutfieldmodelrailways.co.uk/ It had all I needed to begin my layout, and has a small but wide-ranging second-hand section as well. Really friendly and knowledgable staff as well, which helps. Now that I'm relocated to Essex I took my first ...

Thanks for the clip Geoff, got mine this afternoon, now I just need to find the box with the track and controller in it after the chaos of this months house move.

Re: Webb Coal Tank
Sounds good Geoff,
If you produced a quick video it would be great. Interested in what you said about the right turns as I thinking a relatively tight turning layout for these smaller locos.

Good to hear all the positive reports so far, I was going to buy one on the first day of release from kernow but thought I'd wait to hear some feedback.

Re: Does anybody run a specific era?
My steam locos are half LMS half early BR with the wagons/rolling stock similarly split. All my diesel locos are Irish '80's onwards along with similar coaches. I got the sealink liveried coaches recently and think I will get some of these Scotrail marked coaches and run them alongside the Irish sto...

I never saw one of these or ceryainly pay any attention to it if I saw it online but seeing it on display I really lliked the look of the loco. Does anybody have one or can shar a revi...

OO/HO scales
Hi All,
I know that both scales will run on the sam track and their is a slight difference inthe scales but is it noticable? If I have a HO loco beside a OO loco or haulingOO rlling stock do they look okay together? The HO bargins on Kernow jus look too good to turn down.
Thanks
Mark

I'm in a similar situation, a small collection of decoders, using for lighting sounds a good idea.

Murphy Models Class 071
Arrived this morning, fantastic looking, a heavy and superbly detailed model. Unfortunately when trying to remove the body retaining screws to fit the dcc decoder I broke off a windscreen wiper and an aerial (why do they fit those screws so tight?). A tiny bit of glue should get those back on. Very ...

Picked this loco up from Kernows bargins, great loco, nice heavy robust runner, doesnt really fit into my rrecent purchases in terms of era/livery but I'm finding myself mix and match all sorts these days. For the price it was going at its a good addition, just need to weather that white cab roof so...

I would like to try but I have all the artistic talents of a empty tin of mushy peas. Plus I know I would never be happy with what I do, I prefer seeing what others can offer and avail of their services.

Re: Generic Decoder?
My decoder history, I bought several locos and had either hattons/bachmann decoders installed at purchase. I have since upgraded all to Lenz decoders and the difference in performance is very noticeable. I had two locos that I had Zimo decoders fitted (have sold on now) but was happy with the Zimos....
