Hobbytrain/Lemke Vectron - lights

Hi, I purchased the above model (H3107S) version and I'm stumped as to how to get the rear lights to come on. I've contacted the shop for advice, but they just gave me the info that I already got with the loco. I used a Fleischmann Multimaus controller. The rear lights should come on using function ...

Re: Power Supply

Hi,
I've soldered the track feed to each rail just before the point switch/tie bar.

Re: Power Supply

Yeah, I've insulated joiners on the frogs - but I've not made any mods..guess I'll follow your suggestion and fix the points so that power is not relied upon the point blade. I'm using code 55 peco points, I'm not using any point motors (except for my 3 way and double slip) but if I make any changes...

Re: Power Supply

They are all electrofrog points. It doesn't seem to matter what speed the loco goes. All locos have the flywheel- I guess it must be a bad connection as I've cleaned the points with isopropyl and something similar to goo gone.

Re: Power Supply

Yeah, I'm going to have to go through all the solders again, as it's frustrating they keep stopping. I'll try this first and see what happens. I was even contemplating ripping up the layout and starting again.
Thanks for the response.

Power Supply

I have an 8x4 layout, N Scale, with 4 loops and some sidings. I reckon I need more power to supply the sidings as my locos run fine on the straight track, but stall on the points within the sidings (no matter how clean the track is). I have a Fleischmann 680801 power supply. Would it be better to ha...

Re: Headlights - directional issue

I've tried altering CV29 to 7 (from 6). All this does is make the train run right, when the controller goes anti-clockwise, but the issue with the lights remains...
Still looking online though..

Re: Headlights - directional issue

Hi Bigmet, I checked online again for Fleischmann CV values. Eventually found that CV64 resets everything. The lights are directional, so headlights on when forward and visa versa. Lights are fine now, each end is lit and not both ends together. But now the headlights are directional, they work the ...

Headlights - directional issue

Hi, I've a Fleischmann DB101 and I've spent a while trying to sort out the directional headlights, but I'm not very CV savvy.. Anyway, if the Loco is running to the left (front), the triple headlights work, as well as the triple headlights on the right side (rear) with a red light (situation as the ...

Re: CV settings/loco not responding

Hi,
I done a full reset- but when the controller still retained the loco I had tried to reset.. I've read the manual, but maybe I'm reading things wrong. No matter what I try, each loco seems to work only on library no. 3

I'll keep trying! Thanks

CV settings/loco not responding

Hi all, Yesterday, I inadverently caused all locos on my track to have the same CV number. I had two locos that would not respond and I was trying to get them to work, when I done something to give all locos the same default number. I've tried almost everything yesterday to try and fix what I done, ...
