As long as the magnet is up to strength, get it remagnetised rather than substituting a modern neodymium one, commutator copper segments are cleaned and the brushes aren't worn away, it will run They were built tough, with two sliding contacts picking up and all wheels for the return current cleani...

The Peppercorn was about £50,The spamcans were £250-300 each from Hattons.Ilike to see them run,glass cases are not for me.

The 2EPB came about because at the time,Dublo cab fronts wern`t available,Dart castings supplied the white metal cab fronts.The unit was built on a Dublo poor condition motor car & trailer using home produced overlays. 20171115_225400.jpg SR 2epb driving & trailer.jpg Ray.
