Re: The Strogaloft - Construction Begins... Again!
Hi, Just been looking back through some of the recent pictures and can see you have put a lot of effort into this. Some really nice attention to detail. I also particulary like the warehouse scene :) I know how you feel about the ballasting...can be a tiresome job and you can spend hours making it l...

Re: Paintiing concrete effect on an Ash Plant
Think you should have posted this in the scenery section but no worries, I doubt anyone will get too upset
For the concrete you could just buy the right colour paint....

I'm going to experiment with some 'orrible old fur that I found fly-tipped down the lane near home. Even after bleaching, it's pretty skanky....I don't believe I'm doing this yeah yeah pull the other one. What have you got to eat for the rest of this week? Bear steak tonight, Bear casserole tomorro...

Re: Mighty's 00 Loft Layout - two years old (a little late!)
Very nice work! Everything that needs to be said has been said! Only wish I had spotted the update earlier :D You know what it is needed now dont ya? a full length mirror behind that hill, and a photo at the right height to take full advantage of it  Keep up the good work. Looking forward to m...

Re: Wordsworth - South Fangore Scenic Work Begins
Hi Mike, Have you investigated getting your DCC Controller repaired? May be worth trying the manufactuer (check on their website). I managed to blow my Digitrax controller up last year. After making an enquiry with Digitrax I was able to send it back to them and get it repaired for the relatively ch...

Guttering looks absolutely fine Andrew, just shut one eye and squint the other....thats what I have to do all the time when appr...

Actually I think it is ok
Looking at where it is positioned you will be pre-warned of imminent danger when you clout your head on the loft truss, believe me I should know

Re: Fletching Station
I am debating at the moment whether or not to put in a short 12mm gauge line and scratchbuild a model of 'Townsend Hook', the first engine to arrive at the preserved Bluebell (the full size TH is my baby, I'm restoring her at Amberley Museum). Will post pics here as and when :) Jack No debate reall...

Re: 16 by 6 Layout (currently un-named)
Again impressed with the speed you have got to this stage! Are you planning to go the full monty? i.e do all the scenics. If you are then I would recommend the cardboard is replaced with something more substantial. The last thing you would want is your track bedded in and sides of the inclines fille...

Ahhhh well Dad is boss :D Would be a shame to start over anyway considering the progress you have made! Ouch cutting yourself with a knife like that is the kind of thing you only do once, cos it is so bloody painful you quickly learn to take more care! Hope you have the full working use of that hand...

Re: Lessor Tufts - OO In the loft
Thanks for the tip Tim, The more I look at them the more I am convinced they be ok also. Think the wall on the wide arch may need to be a tad higher but can check that once the proper assembly starts. Which could be soon hopefully as I believe the delivery of the Slaters plasticard is imminent! Talk...
