Re: Steam Trains to Sovereign Street on a 1914/1919 theme

Ahh, Another question. How long is "Some time" Geoff T 3-4 years on some locomotives. Glencairn Well I am not saying how many locos I have but the number must be greatly excessive if that is one of our unwritten rules. I don't think I have ever come across the rule before stating how many...

Re: Anyone currently buying?

BCF 01.jpg BCF 02.jpg   Ever since starting the garden railway my son and myself have always liked the LGB Mallet loco sets with 2 carriages. Unfortunately they were far too expensive for us. I did however manage to get a second hand loco as seen in the picture. I suppose that I had given up on the...

Re: Hattons closing down

Since they moved to Widnes, I haven't really shopped with them. It's a place that I have heard was not really welcoming to personal shoppers or browsers. I don't have transport and it well out of town and hard to get to so I never visited it, there is Widnes Model actually in Widnes town. I remember...

Unique G scale track cleaner.

track cleaner.jpg Well I am sure you won’t find another like it, but it does work. I know that it's pathetic and I wasn’t going to post it, but it should give some a laugh or you might even feel sorry for me. Anyway anyone who wants a cheap effective track cleaner can build it, and much better tha...

Re: Anyone currently buying?

I am currently buying fairground related items and kits. I have stripped my amusement park section down to its baseboard with the exception of the outer railway track for my OO9 rolling stock. I must admit I may be buying motorised fairground kits but my son is building them for me, there is no way ...
