Gaugemaster Autofrog

Hi all. Has anyone used these from Gaugemaster?

Was trying to think why you would use this gadget and not a point motor with switch? Unless you were converting a DC layout to DCC maybe?

They're different guage right? SL-500 is narrow? In which case the rails may well be code 100 in height, but the horizontal gap between them won't be the same. The 4' in standard guage is not the case for narrow.

It's a great little shop. Always busy as well, which is of course a good thing. Apparantly Jane herself is on holiday currently bobbing around in the Med somewhere.
