Re: Sad news
Just for the record in archaeology, inscriptions or drawings scratched or carved onto a surface, esp rock or pottery is classed as graffiti. Does it matter if its art, graffiti or whatever other term that you want to use to describe it. Whether it's good or bad in the eyes of the beholder, It's som...

Re: Sad news
Graffiti and art or artists in the same sentence is an oxymoron. It doesn't matter how much of an 'artist' anyone thinks these idiots are, they're still vandalising other peoples property. I don't think anyone thinks they are artists. It is 'grafitti' or more accurately vandalism. Graffiti art is a...

Re: Sad news
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, Mumbles, sadly I've seen the evidence of the lack of respect and rise in violence firsthand in my day to day job, people do things now that I'd have never dreamed of doing back in the 60s and 70s... The only embarrassing thing about this thread is that the van...

Re: Sad news
I saw this the other day and i have to say it doesn't "smell" right to me. It's not even graffiti in any sense of the term, just scribbles, no tags, and the use of banksy's name on it is like someone who know's nothing about grafitti artists thinking of the only name they know. It's eithe...

Re: Sad news
Violence is always the answer
Is that a good idea to be promoting violent attitudes to our younger members? If a link to a video with a couple of swear words on another website gets complaints... yet killing and hurting people is all ok eh??

Re: Mumbles Southern Garage Layout II
It looks good. Just make sure you can reach some of the hidden lines for track cleaning. As you can see in the vid, all the hidden lines are raised above the level of the base units with the scenic track 30+cm raised. The fiddle yard being about 13cm up. As all the scenery will then be built raised...
