Looks like the spiral track serving a clay pit, George. There was something like it on the telly a while back. Think it was part of a brickworks, or something.

Looking forward to seeing it progress.

Cool! Really captures the look of Dorset (sorry, couldn't resist).

Is that pond-scum floating on top of the water? Which really does look like water on that picture, by the way.

Yeah, I quite enjoy ballasting, too. Not so keen on painting the rails rust-coloured but it doesn't normally take long, so it's not too bad.

Hey Tim, what's the 'kashi mushi' thing about? I know it's Japanese but the possible translations don't make much sense. Think one of them was something like 'cardboard hedgehog'

Something Anime related?

Yeah, in marked contrast we were all moaning that we'd only had 4 inches rather than the 6 to 8 we were forecast. The kids had to go to school and everything! Was hoping they'd get the day off, so they could look after the babbies and I could get some modelling... err... work! done.

Superb.

I agree about the baggage wagon. That's a beautiful model.

The loco IS pretty cool, you're right. I like the wierd wheel spacing, too. If this keeps up I might be convinced to take up continental modelling at some point. :D

Hmm. If I could just get rid of my kids I could have a room like that. Anyone want to buy 4 rugrats, as new condition but missing their original packaging? I can just imagine myself sitting at that computer watching the trains go by. Lovely job Brian. I'm quite envious of your camera collection, too...

Nice to see that Bavarian railways have their priorities straight - hauling beer. :)

Ah, but the owner is rather precious. 'nuff said! Re Bavaria....don't try and wriggle out of it. Anyway I have never been to Bavaria so it's all a figment of a rather demented imagination. :D Brian. Me? Wriggle? Run your SR stock through there and you'll see! It looks like part of Dors...

Great stuff Dave, will you be putting a Flock of Neds/ Veg on the plapform? Matt 'Spose I'd better, they were a permanent fixture in my day, now depleted in numbers due to lack of interest ... ... they were useful for gen in fairness ... what use of the word ned is this.. is it as in townie/chav ??...

No offense intended. It DOES look like Bavaria. But there's some place in Dorset that looks like Bavaria as well  I showed the pics to Zoe and she reckons it's somewhere we drove through near the tank museum at Bovington. And yeah, that TVR does look like a French Tart's boudoir. Quite cool in ...

That picture reminds me of somewhere I've been in Dorset. Can't quite remember where, but somewhere down there.

What are the railings, the Peco ones? They do look very cool along the platform. Look forward to seeing it with booking hall, ballast and weathering.

Cool! You should exhibit, Brian. Yours are better than most of the people that do so.

As for cars I own a Australian classic!

Holden Torana, I very much doubt anyone would know what it is

Assie-ized Vauxhall Viva, isn't it? Or am I thinking of something else?
