Re: New Railway Modellers Shop

Once again I have had great service from the NRM shop. Ordered items yesterday afternoon, received Interlink tracking details last night and parcel duly arrived when stated and in perfect condition.

A lot of online retailers could learn a lot from NRM shop for truly great service.

Re: Hornby order processing and delivery time ?

I know they have a 3pm cut off for orders received to be despatched the same day.

It should get despatched to UK Mail this afternoon, but with today being Friday means you will get it sometime Monday.

UK Mail will either text or e-mail you a 1 hour slot on Sunday or early Monday morning.

Re: New Railway Modellers Shop

I've ordered from the NM Shop on at least half a dozen occasions and the service I have received has been first class. I get the news letter and always check them out first when I am looking for something. Another order will be winging their way in the next couple of days too. Having the forum linke...

Phil Parker from Model Railway Express magazine has visited The Wonderful World of Trains and Planes.

He has put a few photos up as well. The article is near the bottom of the page.

Re: Wordsworth Card Kits - FREE downloads

Hi Mike,

That's brilliant, thank you. I'll check out FoxIT in the meantime.

I like the idea of the alternative tanks. Increases the options a little.

Keep up the great work Mike, it is much appreciated.

Re: Wordsworth Card Kits - FREE downloads

I'm having a problem printing the new diesel pump and tanks kit. I open it in Adobe reader as usual. When I click print the first page comes off fine, however page 2 of 5 brings up a progress bar for flattening. It quickly reaches 31% where it stops and then nothing happens till the program crashes....

Re: Hornby HM2000 Controller Mains Hum

I have the HM2000 and mine does exactly the same thing. noticeable hum that is then drowned out as the locos run around.

As far as I am aware this is natural behaviour for the unit. It just takes a bit of getting used to.

Looks excellent Mike, can't wait to try the weighbridge out later - I have a nice spot to put it in too.

Keep up the excellent work. :)

Re: First Ever layout Underway At Last

Thanks Shaun. It is a good space and I'm looking forward to what I can do with it. Alex - I had looked at DCC but none of my loco's have chips and I don't think I will be good at fitting chips. I have never soldered before either. As it is my first ever attempt at a layout I wanted to keep it as sim...

First Ever layout Underway At Last

Good Evening All, I have finally made a start on my first ever layout. I cleared out our spare bedroom, had some boards cut and finally got underway. http://i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y406/teomakleins1/Layout800x800_zpscc4213f4.jpg The boards are all 2 feet wide and will go around the edge of the ...
