The most bizarre engines ever?

Please help me out with a project I'm putting together (non-model related), what, in your opinion are the most bizarre looking engines to appear in the UK?
Electric, steam, diesel, whatever, just let me know please.

cheers :)

Muddy Hornby Thomas

I've picked up a "muddy and red-faced" Thomas the tank engine off fleabay, I got it because I've never seen it before and now, doing a google search shows up nothing about it but I think it may be from a set, is it rare? limited edition? Can anyone tell me more about it?

Re: Why is this Forum so quiet ?

You can get some nice effects by taking the lettering back with a fibre glass pen, and adding washes, as below:

Tsk!, I only mentioned the SSR as an example of a fantasy layout and wanted to hear of any other fantasy layouts done. I don't expect THIS!

Re: The Strategic Reserve

Don't rise to it Rogue, sadly, some people only seem to be able to maintain their own sense of self-worth by putting others down. I for example have refrained from commenting on one particular thread, as i believe the ego of the said individual would take quite a knock. Chris P don't get ya ...

Re: The Strategic Reserve

The Strategic Reserve

I've been reading up on this and it's pretty fascinating stuff (real or not!) but it had me wondering, has anyone modelled this fantasy scenario? are there any other fantasy model layouts done (I don't mean a imagined GWR line or whatever but,) and surely this MUST have been done, Harry Potter or so...
