Re: What Film themed train pack would you like to see?
I would be quite happy with the train from Oh Doctor Beeching tv series. Bachmann already makes the loco and 2 of the 3 Mk1 coaches. It would actually be the complete train, too. Plus they could do a resin version of the station cottages even though the one used in the series was just a flat prop. I...

Re: Correct OO scale people and vehicles
Stan Butler and Jack Harper from ‘On The Buses’ are HO figures, Preiser Conductor 590-28034 and Engineer 590-28038. If you go to the link below and then post #19 you will find most of the figures I used on my layout listed I also wanted to point out the Noch HO figures tend to be larger then most HO...

Re: Correct OO scale people and vehicles
Here are some pictures showing how I mix HO and OO figures. Mary Poppins and the Beatles are HO. Daffyd Thomas, from Little Britain, is HO and all the other figures are a mix of HO and OO. Sir Topham Hatt is HO and standing next to a OO figure. Since there is a post with Stan and Jack from On The Bu...

Re: London Transport museum and Bachmann announce LT S-Stock
I have been saying for years that someone should make some Tube trains and that they will sell. I still stand by that opinion. Most British modelers are not thinking of all the tourists from other countries who model HO and will spend good money for a London Underground model. The Tube is a major to...

Re: Flashing beacons
Check with the sellers to be sure but I had the same issue and, if I remember correctly, was told I had to connect them to the variable DC hookup as opposed to the AC accessories hookup.

Re: couplings
I use LOCTITE adhesive and it works great when there is no NEM socket. It is thick enough that I can even adjust the height if need be.

Harrods wagon
This is a subject that has been on my mind for years. The old Lima Harrods plank wagon wagon has Harrods on the side, but is that Harrods have any connection to the Harrods in Knightsbridge in London?

single car carrier wagon
What would I use for a wagon that carries one motor car during the 1950s? Triang made one that was so not correct but I know I have seen pictures in the past of such wagons. I know I could use a lowmac but would prefer not to. Is such a wagon made by any manufacturer?

Re: BR Ferry Van usage
I saw some of that when I searched, as well as details about the vans themselves, but could not find if they were ever on regular trains or not. The picture would lead me to believe they were, at least sometimes, a part of regular trains.
