All mine are removable, that said they are all sound models. Bachmann usually include the blanking plate as an accessory.

Re: North Walsham - Underway
Update photo - adding the storage sidings at the back has greatly increased my ability to move different trains in and out of operation.

Lighting Buildings
Thinking about lights for my buildings either Skaledale or a led solution. Not keen to add the load to the accessory slot on my elite. I have a GuageMaster M1 Transformer spare it used to power my points before RailMaster, it provides 16v AC, can this be used.
Thx Dave

Re: Surprisingly good/bad
Good - Bachmann 32-377DS CLASS 37/4 37417 'HIGHLAND REGION' BR BLUE L/LOGO(DCC SOUND) runs like a dream great sound.
Bad - Bachman 4-6-0 Butler Henderson NRM Limited Edition - front boggie is sloppy and derails too easily

Fitting NEM Couplings to old wagons
Have some old Hornby wagons with the old style wide couplings and would like to fit the more modern NEM narrow couplings. Purchased some NEM couplings and pockets but have realise I have nothing to slot them into. My Backmann wagons have a plastic box with a v slot that the NEM pockets slide into. C...

Re: North Walsham - Underway
Hi Keith
Need to start on ballasting as I have been very reluctant due to the increased running noise it creates. Have some more terrain to add so it's not quiet as flat and then make a start with some scenic scatter.
That should keep me busy for a while, just need to stop playing trains

Ditto - love this combination, only had the evaluation copy of RailMaster for a couple of days before I had to order the full copy - just hope the key arrives tonightJonny wrote:I use the Elite with Railmaster and I'm very happy with it, if it's any help.
