Hi all,
I was just seeing if anyone has built a Gilmaur kit before or has one in their collection to build. I brought one and I’m trying to work out all the pieces as I think it’s missing some, thank you for any advice.

Thing is the gear box is quite, I removed it from the motor and all the noise was coming from the motor itself.

This is the kind I have at the moment buts it’s way to noisy except the rear back shaft.

Wasp stripes are difficult to get right. The 08 does not have a flat surface in which to apply masking if brush or spray painting. Your method is more promising but as you hae mentioned... It still is not easy! I have a narrow gauge diesel I have yellow bufderbeams on and I am a bit nurvous to try!...
