Re: 3D Printing –Met Chesham Coaches, 4mm/OO, GN Saloon.

Excellent work, a real credit to you.

I'm interested in an N gauge version if ever you do sort out the problems! :)

Re: Reusable, modular layout base in N-gauge

This is really good and a brilliant idea for a 'quick' change of view.
There are some great ideas that I may have to borrow when I start on a larger layout! :)

N Gauge box file: Locomotives for the Shed

As this was to be a static diorama the locomotives are mainly unpowered dummys. Repainted Del Prado locos are useful for this and several more have been created from Shredded Wheat promotional locomotives. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b221/Active1930/Model%20Railway/SANY01103Custom_zps9b27666f....

Re: N gauge box file diorama

Well it’s been a bit of a long time since an update and for that I apologise. To bring the story up to date… All of the buildings and track were fixed on to the base and I took a few photos however I wasn’t happy with the look of the textured paper ballast. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b221/Act...

Re: Boughton Central

Your plan looks good. Sometimes it's nice to just use ready-to-plant buildings as it does speed up the build! :)

Re: Frankland: N gauge Southern Railway

This is breathtaking. Having started creating an N gauge diorama, I can really appreciate how tiny some of these details are - if ever I can achieve results that are a quarter as good I will be pleased!

Re: N gauge box file diorama

I had themed this diorama / learning experience as being located in an urban environment, with the loco shed and running line below road level similar to many urban stations in London. I had planned to have the main running line raised slightly and a ramped access to the loco yard just to add a bit ...

N gauge box file diorama

After looking through the pages here I finally decided to embark upon a layout. In my youth I had a OO scale layout constructed with the help of Dad, but with no space available at the moment I decided to limit myself to a box file layout as a practice piece and to try my hand in N gauge. Although I...
