One thing I particularly liked about this layout was the automatic block-control. I think there was a video once?
Equally though the scratch built houses and bridge where impressive too.

Looking quite complex, and accomplished at the same time.

That's quite a view, three bridges in a row. And the model is coming along nicely too, you can already feel the atmosphere in that view along the road with the heavy shadows contrasting the pools of light between. Nice to get a glimpse of the railway room too. Will it be scenics all round? Or part s...

Nice work Martin. The chimney stack reaching for the sky on the larger of the buildings is particularly imposing.

Out of curiosity, what is your hat of preference?
Personally I quite like relaxing in a simple cap, and a Homberg for semi-formal occasions. For more workaday situations a Straw Boater seems the most appropriate
