Wow! They look very Victorian! Were they still trundling a round in the 1960's?

Two are still running on the Isle of Wight steam railway.

Re: Ripped off again!

I too have bought from this seller on several occasions without any problems. The OP has omitted to say the seller offers a full returns service. So, we have a buyer who moans without first contacting the seller. Far too many like that on Ebay these days.

RAMSAY'S BRITISH MODEL TRAIN CATALOGUE 8th EDITION

It is already available to pre-order at Amazon (and others). For those that don't know this is a comprehehen...

Re: Buying Habits - Changed due to Postal Charges?

As a seller I have slightly changed the way I do things. Several manufacturers now sell PiP boxes (Priced in Proportion) which will qualify as a small parcel. A boxed loco will easily fit into these boxes or 3 boxed coaches or eight/nine boxed wagons.I also now only use second class signed for, rath...

Re: Just what is your worst ebay dud?

Personally, I have used Auctiva for all my Ebay listings for many years. For a fixed fee of £6.75 a month you get free scheduling, 24 pictures per listing (all of which can be supersized) and you pay one fee for up to five seperate Ebay accounts. You can also get templates, scrolling gallery etc. Be...
