Re: A question about waterslide transfer paper you can print
I don't use varnish, you can buy pots of liquid decal film or i use future floor polish. For me they work much better than varnish. Please also check you have inkjet paper if you have a inkjet printer, or lazerjet paper for a lazer printer. Ive made that mistake myself once. Ahhhhh the future floor...

Re: remove paint from a body
Nail varnish or nail varnish remover? If it smells like pear drops it's acetone which will melt most plastics. Remover......... Correct!... Hence minuscule amount, it's removed the black, and only very slightly, hardly noticeable left a "streak" where the black once was, but this isn't a ...

It's pretty obvious isn't it? You can try washing the body, obviously separate the body from i...

Re: Go on then! Convert me
Here's a few reasons for not going DCC (they are all negations of what have been offered as "advantages" over the years): Why would you want to "drive the train, not the track". Every railway in the world does the exact opposite. A model railway operator should see himself as a ...

Re: Go on then! Convert me
Lol well I thought I.d decided. One main factor pushing me towards DCC is less electrical. The one thing pushing me away is the cost of fully set up locos. Now Im not really wanting sound that isn't to much of an issue. If a 20 comes along at the right price them I'll go for it but 200 quid on a toy...

You should then get all the DCC crowd answering your questions! http://www.newrailwaymodellers.co...
