Thanks Tim, I lived in the West Mids for a while, the 25s were everywhere on various frieghts great and small. I took 'Rats' for granted then, but really miss them now. Matt, I've 37238 and 038, both BACHMANN models. I will be building up a large stud of these, I view 37s the same way you view 40s!...

No, I want to 'shoulder' the ballast against the crossing rather than lay the planking acoss the ballast: it impossible to get the planking straight and level otherwise. Crossing done, took me ages ... EXCELLENT! Will post more pics tomorrow. Ahhh, good point dave. I look forward to seeing the pic'...

... but back to Marshfield :) ... I meant to say that I intend to have working lamp posts on the platforms also, but that's a way off yet. Next job is to install barrow crossings at both platform ramps, and lay the ballast. Don't you want to do that the other way around, ballast the add the crossin...
