Re: Monmouthshire Bank Locomotive Inspection & Stabling Point

Hello and welcome to Monmouthshire Bank Model Railway. Sadly there are a few departures to report on the traction front, these include the MPV and 60081 along with 60033 in Corus colours. However this reduction of three traction units has been off set by the arrival of two class 60's, a class 56 and...

Hello, its been an age well it seems like it since I last came onto NRM let alone updated my tread, so here we go. Traction: The arrival of 60081 started somewhat of a disapointment with the model, it was somewhat under described on a certain internet auction site. So it will now be passed on to som...

Re: Bachmann 2012 speculation thread

the RNA (ex HEA) flask barrier has already been anounced as a limtied edition i think. the refurbushed CEP is a great sudgestion, i would have one of those.......in NSE. it would also be great to see a EPB spin off of 2-HAP, and eventually a 4PEB. but i dont hold my breath for any 'new' stuff this ...

Re: Hornby 2012

There is an indication on one of the shop websites that the new 67 is only weeks away from being released. Is there anything to back this up ?

Thanks.

Re: Monmouthshire Bank Locomotive Inspection & Stabling Point

Hello, Its been a busy post Xmas period on the layout with the last odds and ends of wiring complete on the central control board, interconnection plugs and sockets fitted to allow the DCC power to pass through each board and the final bit to complete the control panels. A new locomotive has arrived...

Re: Monmouthshire Bank Locomotive Inspection & Stabling Point

Hello, With the Northampton & District Model Railway show in about 7 months, my plan to have the layout electrically complete by the start of 2012 is more or less on track. I have still to wire the interboard connections and then build three mimic panels, once thats done the layout is electrical...

Mimic Control Panels

Hello, My layout is split into three boards each with its only control panel, powered from a Gaugemaster M1 transformer on the central 'control board'. The set up works fine, but I want to add another three panels (identical to the others) on the front of the three boards. This will enable me to hav...

Re: Monmouthshire Bank Locomotive Inspection & Stabling Point

Good afternoon, Quite alot has been going on at Mon Bank of late, although the layout is still at the 'quite alot actually being done, but very little to show' stage. The layout is now fully wired as far as traction control, point motors, uncouplers and board connections are concerned. I am now in t...

Re: Collectors Club Model

I was a member some years ago to buy 57601 and the again to buy the Blue pannier at Didcot. But let it lapse, I might be tempted to join again to get the flask depends on whether I decide to keep my model railway WRD steel traffic only or ship in some flasks for maintenance.
