Interesting one manna. Presumably you'll be re-setting the eccentric rod on the left-hand side, as it seems to be 90 degrees adrift? (Thankfully the right-hand side looks ok.)

For unlaid track I would always use a Xuron - and a rotary disc for in situ track.
