Re: Sudbury-on-Sea (N gauge)
Thanks very much for the praise. I'm glad you like the station. Unfortunately, I think I won't be able to build one for you. With family and work I have very little modelling time myself. Furthermore, I believe that making things yourself is much more rewarding than having them made for you. If you ...

Re: Sudbury-on-Sea (N gauge)
The glass roof is made from leftover parts from a Faller platform kit.
The rest is made from brass strips and paper.
Hope that helps.

Re: Sudbury-on-Sea (N gauge)
Back from page 4! :D Hi everyone, as I've been distracted by German N gauge and a little H0e/OO9, work on Sudbury has been very slow. However, there have been some developments. First is that shortly before Christmas my class 26 returned from DCC Supplies. They didn't repair it but sent me another o...

Re: Sudbury-on-Sea (N gauge)
:D DCC-Supplies sent a message that my 26 is repaired. So I'm just waiting for her to return. :D :D :D In the meanwhile, I managed to do a little work on Sudbury. First of all, Ifinally built that Ratio semaphore signal for the passenger line. http://i1082.photobucket.com/albums/j368/mika21882/P1160...

Re: Back to the lakes ( N gauge)
Hi Lee,
good to see you back. That's still a nice amount of space you have there.
Looking forward to your new layout.
All the best,
Michael

I guess she felt neglected after I had a steam running session. I see it as a cry for attention... which she got. Damn! She' so manipulative...
Anybody here have any experiences with DCC Supplies?
Cheers,

Re: Sudbury-on-Sea (N gauge)
Hi there,
no worries, still alive.
just had to send my Dapol class 26 back to the UK to have it repaired as it suddenly started smoking .
We'll se how that turns out...
Otherwise, I'm afraid, there are no developments on Sudbury.
Cheers,
Michael

Re: Sudbury-on-Sea (N gauge)
what you really need is a farish MLV Yes, I guess that would be nice, too. If Bachmann's OO model sells well, perhaps they scale it down? Still, I want a 2-car EMU. A 2-BIL or a 2-EPB, perhaps? For now, I have to sort out some running issues some of my locos have, in particular on the freight line....

Hi Mark,
such a shame to see Shawbury go (again ).
Your layout has always been an inspriration to me.
I hope you get everything sorted out and am looking forward to Mk3.

Re: Sudbury-on-Sea (N gauge)
Hi everyone! Because of a new job I thought I treat myself. I've always been after a class 73 and that was the perfect opportunity. I got myself a dapol trainset  with a BR blue class 73 and two ferry wagons. Not a bad deal for 104 GBP including a Peco track oval and a Gaugemaster controller ...
