Looking great Chief! The trackwork looks awesome!

Are you going to do the same barrier when you go back to N? :D

Re: My (N gauge) table football layout!

I seem to be building up a stockpile of the small Dapol couplers and am tempted to deck out a lot of my stock with it- they do look better than the Rapido. Could you try them- they work fine with the Kadee type couplers you're using already and then it won't matter which end of the wagon you couple...

Those sleepers look excellent!

I keep getting urges to dabble in some European stuff, and seeing some at Ally Pally this weekend just stoked the fire even more!

Hi Luke,

Its all looking really good! Having walked the West Highland Way a couple of times you've definately captured the feel of the area.

Re: Progress or vandelism?

Along the lines of what Luke mentioned, on Google maps streetview there is the option to go back to Nov 2012 or May 2009.

Its coming along great! Trackwork looks very neat and tidy, and looks good with the painted rails. What paint did you use?

Hi Chief,

Thats a great looking model! Nice job! I also noticed your track weathering and ballasting, cracking job on that too!

Good to see I'm not the only one slightly disorganised! :) Here is mine at the moment, piled high with everything but model railway making stuff! http://i1222.photobucket.com/albums/dd491/jimmy1977uk/Random%20Stuff/P1000202_zps14240364.jpg http://i1222.photobucket.com/albums/dd491/jimmy1977uk/Random...

Re: New N Gauge Layout

I hadn't planned to, but actually it would be good to try to model the fake houses. Would also like to have a go at something like Paddington tube station, part exposed part hidden.

Re: New N Gauge Layout

I'd be tempted to place a Dapol London transport pannier on that cameo :) hmmm... what a good idea! Thats given me something to think about... From what I can remember I think i just glued the additional rails in place, they are a bit chunky though, so maybe if I re-did it I would use plastic strip...

Re: New N Gauge Layout

Small update for today, had my delivery of bits and pieces which allowed me to finish off the main lighting circuit, and then I tidied up the power strip for the yet to be in existance electrics bay. Going through some boxes I also found my old LU scenic thing which I made about 3 years ago (some of...

Re: New N Gauge Layout

Oh trust me I'm bound to mess up along the way somewhere with the wiring! I've seen the efforts of others on here when it comes to control panel wiring and it send shivers down my spine to think I have to do something similar. Some things I feel confident with, others not so, and some things I haven...
