If it is sucsesfull then take note that most of the stuff has just been plonked down (appart from the station etc) as I found them in boxes under the layout from God knows when. Hope the YouTube link works. https://youtu.be/ciwSLQmTGg0 Yip! Loads of clik...

Re: New layout
Hi ! Just spent an hour going through your thread. What a great job you are doing. Also a little like me in as much as you like to run some stock arround instead of getting on with the job. I've forgoten how to link video from you tube to my thread. Only done it once and that was by pure luck. Keep ...

Hi End2End.
The GWR benches are simple. Just do as it says in the instructions. What it dosen't say is don't have a can of beer before you start. Bes of luck with them.
Best Regards
BILL.

Re: Bill's New Extension. ----Update.
Hi Chaps. Well then here we are again. When I come to think of it there isn't much to say. The centre piece is the main station. That is as far as iv'e got to date. Its taken me several months to get the track running true so over that time iv'e altered some stuff here and there. This is because the...

Re: Oxford Rail Adams Radial Decoder Problem
Thanks BRJIM. As I said earlier on in my thread I swapped the Radial for another locomotive thus ending my problem. You shouldn't have to go to all this trouble with something that has a design fault and that you have paid good money for. For some reason the thread kept running after I stated that I...

Hi Andrew!!! Good to hear from you. Sorry I haven't replied to your post. Not been looking at my own. Had a little trouble with a DCC loco I was bought as a 73rd birthday present so I've been on the DCC forum. Good to see you may be going into DCC. Good fun. Heard lots about it over the years but wo...

Re: Oxford Rail Adams Radial Decoder Problem
Hi Chaps. Thanks for all your input. Tried a Zen 360 (Ithink) No luck on the fit. Only put the front screw in. It ran for five minutes before frying. I solved the problem by taking it back to my local supplyer. Swaped it for a Hornby Railroad Mallard. So problem solved. Can't be faffing about like t...

Re: Oxford Rail Adams Radial Decoder Problem
Hi Chaps!
Thanks for all your input. I have decided to try a direct plug in decoder. Not quite sure which one but SRman recons the Zen dcc concepts is okay. I'll order something up today and let you know.
Many thanks for the help.
With kind regards.

Re: Oxford Rail Adams Radial Decoder Problem
Suzie. Hornby eight pin. Bigmet. Thanks for your interest and advice. I sused that the bunker was metal and I insulated between the top of the decoder and the and the plug. You are obviously very compitent at electronics. I have good eyes and steady nerves but my soldering us rubbish. I note that th...

Oxford Rail Adams Radial Decoder Problem
Hi Chaps! Got an Oxford Rail Adams Radial for my 73rd birthday. I'm having a problem with fitting a decoder. There seems to be little room for it to fit and I can only get one of the two screws to fit at the back. It has blown three decoders to date though it has run okay for the past two weeks. Now...
