Hi all,
Recently I bought an N gauge layout, with a Relco unit fitted. After cleaning the track, should I just run modern (Farish prototype Deltic, for example) on it with the unit on or not? Heard some things about them not being suitable for modern motors

Re: MBA box wagons
Beacuse the real ones don't. They are from two build lots -the first was that of a fixed-rake, with buffers at one end of one wagon, then wagons in the middllde with bar couplings. Later on, it was realised this was slightly impratical, so build them with buffers at each end

Re: What class 37 model is this.
The class 37's went through major overhauls in the 1980's, starting with the 37/4 ETH locos. They decided to carry on refurbishing them, fitting them with the same style of grilles on all 4 corners, incorperating a fire pull in each corner. The non-ETH ones, which later became the 37/5, 37/7 and 37/...

My dad has a limited edition Lima Tulyar - he used to work on it for the DPS
The Lima model is 'easily' extended with the Hurst Model etched sides, due to it being a motor bogie, not a complete block a la Hornby Railroad
I know, because my 55006 has been extended!

'Daisy' was introduced in book 16; Branch Line Engines. A bit of an oddity as she's a single car unit based on a class 101
That's interesting, I always assumed Daisy was a 121/122

I think it's the Hampshire sets. They are doing Kernow's 205, so all it needs *I think) to become a 201-204 is a few centre cars

Well, Mark 2 Air-cons maybe? And something Irish - like a 201, 071 or a little shunter! Plus, Deltic 22, complete with 'Farewell To Thy Greatness' 1982 headboards!
And for Farish, a retooled Class 87 and 90, with Mk2's retooled
