Bit unusual isn't it, they only built two. I've read they got to Kings Cross on specials, so a good enough reason, ( LNER Pacific chassis are cheap)

A small update, I have made the splashers for the B1, but have been fiddling with some GN tenders, new wheels, re-paint, and fitting coal, so not a lot of progress.

G'Day Gents Good thinking Jim, I'm lucky, my layout is at ground level (part of a large shed) All I have to do is get down a (wheelchair access ramp) walk across the garden, and up one step, the wheelchair ramp, I built a couple of years ago, in case my back goes permanently, a bit of foresight can ...
