The one that is fitted to the 66 decoder is not a round one mine was not and is not too bad fitted in the body may want sealing in the case it comes in i always give them a try before thinking about a change.I always wind up or sound person at the model railway club by telling him you need a 15 inch...

Just got round to watching the show reminded me of a lot of clubs fair amount of skill shown and the right layout won on the day .Could you build a layout in 3 days take me a month to do the base board.At least it is opening our great hobby to the general public.

Not bad value for money a good tip for them is to change the speaker i like them and i can have more than one sound loco

I have used the TTS sound decoder in a 31 not bad for the money some say that they are not very good but i like it got a zimo in another one and to my ears there is very little in sound between the two only thing changed is the speaker so one happy chap and can 3 hornby ones to 1 dear one :D

If i need to adjust c.v. i take loco up to the railway club but so far happy a good entry level sstem that does not hurt my brain as the layout stands max of 7 locos on layout so plenty to go at

I got rid of my all singing DCC system and went back to a Bachmann EZ controller some will say i am mad but with a small layout and a maximum of 7 loco's it was a good choice for me so reprogrammed my locos but some would not until i found this on the Bachmann web site from the USA not a mention of ...

Just found this and ask if any one has used a different motor unit ie one out of a class 25 or hst power unit iknow it will take a lot of work to get it to fit but it is a old favourite and would like to keep it going

Yeah ours flashes a code that means "load out of balance" usually when washing a duvet cover or something else that's large. Problem is I can't find a button that says "so what" or "tough, get on with it". its right beside the "any" key on your keyboard! :lol...

Idiot of the day award goes to me missed a wire when fitting a chip to a Lima class 20 got the blue smoke of death first chip i have killed in a long time,would have been ok if a steamer

Put a chip in a hornby 110 dmu could not work out why it was a poor runner on dcc but good on dc .took it up to club and our dcc sage said it wants a tiny drop of lube on pick ups so he did it for me and now runs a dream could not believe it

Just chipped one of these and had to use 2 chips runs as sweet as a nut this is a early one so were not the best of runners until you wire both cars together which i did so running well in dc ,tried one chip for 2 motors but not happy like that so as said 2 did the trick ,so a couple of work job done

A good start space is always a problem so use what you have got the only bit of advice play trains first to make sure that you are happy with your layout and take your time

A tip for you could not work out why my points would some time stick when switching them so tried a drop of light oil type used in locos not to much then worked as new so when cleaning your track just do your points at the same time wonder if it has caught you out
