Magic ! That’s work for the 6 pin decoders thanks very much. However still having the problem with the j15 runs fine forwards terible backwards. It runs fine on dc. Any ideas on that one ?

I have two Bachmann 20s than run fine with Bachman decoders a heljan 33 with a Bachmann decoder that runs fine and a Dapol 122 with a hattons decoder that runs fine. I have check the track and it’s clean have also used the Locos on a rolling road which creates the same issue. What setting should CV2...

ok so after my last post i have bought a new controller an ESU ECoS and done a few more checks but still seem to have problems. 3 of my locos which are a Bachmann 1f a 14xx and a p class all have hattons 6 pin direct fit decoders in them and have a strange runaway where they sit on the track and run...

Yes the size and space issues are a major problem the harness is just two long for the smaller locos that take a 6 pin decoder. However I have since bought some hattons 6 pin decoder decoders and am still having the same issues the Loco moves forward about a wheel turn or two forward then stops this...
