I spent as lot of time massaging figures to try and get a competitive price.
as such we need quite a large run to get the price comparable with say, a Dapol M7, but hopefully it can do it

Totally missed this layout, and i'm glad i found it. fantastic looking layout, really enjoyed the pictures, and i love the Mill for it's great name (Being a Barton) am well aware of the run down town look of Bolton, up there 3 times a week ;-) this and the Bacup layout have to be two of my favourite...

The important thing, whether the nomenclature, colour, public perception etc is right.. is that a steam locomotive made headline news, purely for returning to service. in an age where David Beckhams underpants are deemed more newsworthy than the horrors of the world, where people are more interested...

I gave up half way through series 1, found it pretty dull to be honest, but i hear it piked up

I really dont like Hornby's modern rendition of the sliver A4s. Well its white not silver. In the late 80s and early 90s they did their then toytown A4 in a very nice fine silver, just like Bittern was painted in at the time. Bachmann's rendition of silver fox is even worse..... I have a late 80's ...
