Re: N gauge N2

I spent as lot of time massaging figures to try and get a competitive price.
as such we need quite a large run to get the price comparable with say, a Dapol M7, but hopefully it can do it :-)

N gauge N2

N'gauge in steam intend to commission the GNR N2 class locomotive for the N gauge market. This locomotive was designed by Sir Nigel Gresley and entered service in 1920. It is a 0-6-2t and was operated by the GNR, LNER and British Railways. They were designed for suburban passenger services, and coul...

British Gypsum

ok chaps, as part of my layout, set in 1997 or so, I needed an industry to support my fictional town on the woodhead line. I've been advised to look at Gypsum, I can put a processing plant on the layout, with a single track line heading off to the quarry. so i'm looking at you guys to offer me some ...

Re: Flying Scotsman: Famous engine back on tracks

The important thing, whether the nomenclature, colour, public perception etc is right.. is that a steam locomotive made headline news, purely for returning to service. in an age where David Beckhams underpants are deemed more newsworthy than the horrors of the world, where people are more interested...

Re: Super Specification Streak Gresley A4

In the late 80s and early 90s they did their then toytown A4 in a very nice fine silver, just like Bittern was painted in at the time. Bachmann's rendition of silver fox is even worse..... I have a late 80's ...
