Re: Welton Central & Welton West stations

Paul, I love this layout so much, that if I had the money, I would buy you a house just for the layout!

It would be a shame to see this go, but if it does go, I hope you will share your next layout with us :)

Re: Frankland: N gauge Southern Railway

As usual, stunning. Fantastic attention to detail and you would never ever guess this was N gauge. I will also add, I hate you for being too damn good!

Re: Birmingham New Street in P4

Hi Jim,

You may have already said, but I couldn't spot it, may I ask what you have used as the platform walls? Were they scratch built or did you buy a kit?

Re: The two stations: Welton West and Central

You could make it into the side of a factory? May be a bit obvious but it wouldn't look out of place, especially if you put a couple of tracks leading up to it that were maybe disused as if they had once been the factories private railway line?

Looks absolutely fantastic Richard. The layout seems to have reached a new level of brilliance since I saw it in October.

Re: Welton Central & Welton West stations

I absolutely LOVE this layout already. The look and feel that you've created is incredible. Really jealous of how good you have got the ballast to look in the sidings, I agree with Chris (cme) and say it also reminds me of Wansford at NVR. Can't wait to see more.

Re: The Bridge (The Yeoveney & Colnbridge Railway) - A video!?!

If you pause it at 3.54 you can see Stu poking his head above the scenery before quickly ducking out of the way.

Looks like a "Kilroy was here" pose!

That's a great space for N gauge. Can't wait to see it develop. Are you going DCC for it?

Re: Waton - N gauge challenge

Hey Dave.

When all put together, how do you operate it? Or are the scenic boards lower than they appear? Or do you control it from the side?

Re: The Bridge (The Y&CR) - Burst hot water tanks... oh dear!

Ouch. Well I hope the expense isn't going to be to bad for you and hopefully it wont take to long for you to redecorate. We have been having a massively leaky roof at work recently. We have had it pouring out the ceiling, down the stairs, and through a light fitting right infront of the till. Needle...

Re: Castle Mawr - Unless we decide to change it !

Hey Geoff,

What gauge is it going to be? OO as with the Thomas layout?

Sounds interesting, I hope you don't get stuck with a couple of half completed boards.

Re: The Bridge (The Y&CR) - Updates and even more updates!

Some great new shots there Stu. Platform is looking good with the station building done. Are you by any chance going to be getting yourself a Class 08 to do your shunting? =D I have to say that in the 5th picture down, my favourite bit is the telegraph poles. I know you did it a while ago, and I kno...

Re: The Escapades of a Newbie.

Don't worry about the use of flexi, I was really apprehensive in using it on mine but it's actually really easy to use, just get yourself a pair of xuron track cutters and some fishplates then bend it to your desire. And as Benjamin =P says, Bachmann are a good make. And yes Benny. Another Chris, we...
